Leon Eggleston has been a resident of Ruidoso for the past 32 years, originally hailing from Carlsbad, New Mexico, a native New Mexican for all his life, he’s been directly involved in local Ruidoso area Real Estate since 1994 and loves his profession. Leon is married to Cindy who is an educator in the Ruidoso School System Together, they have three children. The eldest, Eric is currently the Golf Pro and General Manager of Cree Meadows Country Club. Eric is married to Amy and they have two children, Garrett and Brooks. Kendra is married and she and her husband Josh live and teach school in the grand State of Alaska. Lindsay, also an educator, teaches school in the Albuquerque Public Schools.
Over the course of his residence in Ruidoso, Leon has been very involved in the municipality and Lincoln County at large. He’s worked for the Village of Ruidoso for thirteen years as their Clerk / Finance Director, Assistant Manager, and Manager before securing New Mexico real estate license. Following this, He served as an elected official on the Ruidoso Village Council for eight years and elected as Mayor for a four term. |
